Who are the people behind the music?

LORD TIM: Vocals / Lead Guitar

LT is the frontman and lead vocalist/guitarist of LORD (previously known as Dungeon). LORD is one of Australia’s highest profile heavy melodic bands, touring both nationally and internationally with artists such as Queensryche, Nightwish, Saxon, Iced Earth, Nevermore, Gamma Ray, former Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Dianno and many more, as well as their own headlining tours and festival appearances. RICKY BOON: Rhythm Guitar

Ricky is the rhythm guitarist and founding member of Serenity Defiled (previously of Fury / The Harrowed). Serenity Defiled is a brutal thrash/death metal act from the Australian outback city of Broken Hill, building on the already aggressive core sound of Fury. Fury released eight albums and was put on indefinite hiatus in 2011 when the focus shifted to Serenity Defiled, who have just released their debut album “Where Chaos Reigns.” Check out Serenity Defiled at www.facebook.com/serenitydefiled and Ricky’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ricky.boon.5

TIM YATRAS: Drums

Tim is the ex-drummer of LORD and Dungeon, numerous other projects such as Austere, Grey Waters and Woods Of Desolation, and current mastermind of the progressive black metal outfit Germ. An accomplished songwriter and session drummer, appearing on dozens of internationally released albums, Tim was the first choice of drummers to be contacted to be a part of Blackened Angel. ROB GILES: Bass

Rob was bassist for recently disbanded Australian thrashers Nekrofeist who made big waves in the scene with supports to such artists as Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens and Warbringer. His new project Carbon Black is building momentum and will drop their blistering debut EP late in 2013. Rob was the last piece of the Blackened Angel puzzle, and having worked with both LT and Tim before, it was clear he was the low end thunder a heavy project like this needed.
